Nigerian superstar Davido will have a big opportunity to show his craftmanship at the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Davido hasn’t been active in the media since the passing of his first child, Ifeanyi David Adeleke and obviously, this would be the first time he would connect with his fans across the world.
The musician initially made an appearance a few weeks ago when he showed up to support his uncle Ademola Adeleke at his inauguration.
Stephen Hung, a businessman from Hong Kong, has acknowledged the news of his performance and expressed excitement on his official Instagram page.
He wrote: So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.

Meanwhile, Davido’s billionaire father recently trended on the internet after interrupting a family portrait to ask about his daughter-in-law, Chioma Adeleke- formerly known as Chioma Avril Rowland.
Fans cannot but admire the Adeleke family’s exemplary display of a strong, unbreakable kinship.
You may recall that the Grammy-winning artist made his first public appearance today to support Ademola Adeleke, his uncle, who was sworn in as the new governor of Osun State.
Davido’s father, Chief Adedeji Adeleke, interrupted while shooting family pictures to ask where Chioma was. Davido, per the content of the video attached to the report, spoke inaudibly in response to his father.
To this end, fans have been gushing about how much Chioma means to Davido and his family.
