Erica Armah Bra-Bulu Tandoh known by the stage name DJ Switch, is a young Ghanaian female disk jockey. She is a multi talented entertainer who can also sing, rap and dance.
DJ Switch who just turned 12 today the 12 month of December 2019 has already made a name for herself after spinning for just two years.
The only female among four siblings, DJ Switch is undoubtedly an eloquent vocal and confident young lady who puts so much efforts and dedication to her craft that she has managed to win the hearts of many Ghanaians and also put Ghana on the Global market at her found age.
DJ Switch took Ghana by a storm at an early age of 9 when she competed in the TV3’s Talented kids program in 2017 where she was adjudged the winner.
It is quiet surprising how this young lady with no knowledge of the DJ mastered the craft within 5 days of training.
Since winning the competition, there has been no stopping of DJ Switch and it was even evident in interviews with the BBC and CNN.
DJ Switch is also a poet, dancer, an MC, a motivational speaker, actress and an advocate. The talented youngster however has plans of becoming a gyaenacologist in the near future.
Now in junior high school, appearing on TV, hanging out with President Macron, then at Goalkeepers 2019 during the UN General Assembly, and performing original music alongside Wyclef Jean, doesn’t stop her from her education. Erica’s parents and management makes sure everything is always organized on each trip and her educational curriculum is taken care of with top up private tutorials.
DJ Switch recently founded The DJ Switch Foundation, advocating for quality education, adequate health care, gender equality and sustainable development.
As a child advocate, DJ Switch keeps on “switching” peoples lives with her voice and talent.
