Former President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians and lovers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain strong in these trying moments of the party.

According to him, the party has suffered some setbacks in recent times and the dismissal of their Election Petition case by the Supreme Court is an example.

However, he believes the NDC will surely bounce back and that Ghanaians should not give up but continue to support the party as they work to ensure victories in the future.

Speaking to Ghanaians a few hours after the Supreme Court ruling, Mahama said Ghanaians and NDC supporters should remain strong, never give up and look into to the future with hope.

According to him, there are about 6million Ghanaians who believe in the NDC and voted for the party thus that should serve as a true hope of a promising future despite their current nemesis.

“Do not despair, do not despair, remain strong, The NDC shall surely bounce back,” Mahama calmly said.
