“Be kind, do not hate Homosexuals” – Gabby Otchere-Darko to Ghanaians

Ghana’s de facto Prime Minister Gabby Otchere-Darko has spoken against the sheer hate been exercised towards homosexuals in Ghana.

The conversation surrounding the legalization of LGBTQ in Ghana has taken centre stage in recent days with the citizenry divided on the topic.

While some make argument suggesting that the rights of homosexuals must be protected, others vehemently refuse to hear any 21st-century explanation on why LGBTQ should be permitted in Ghana.

On the back of that Lawyer, Gabby Otchere-Darko is admonishing Ghanaians to be considerate of homosexuals and not to generate hate against them.

In a tweet, Gabby said he does not need to be gay to understand the quantum of hate speech and animosity been exercised towards people with different sexual orientation.

You don’t have to be pro-gay to appreciate their situation. You only have to be human. Let us be careful and not generate an intense hate campaign against homosexuals. You can speak for the law and ‘culture’ minus hate. Hate sucks!

Below are some of the reactions his post has received so far.
