Clinton Gutherson was born on 9 September 1994 in Mona Vale, New South Wales, Australia. Gutherson’s journey to becoming a professional rugby league player began in his youth when he played for the Cromer Kingfishers. It was here that his exceptional talent caught the attention of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, who signed him to their team. Gutherson played for the Sea Eagles’ NYC team in 2012 and 2013 before making his way up to the first-grade squad.

In 2012, Gutherson had the honour of playing for the Australian Schoolboys team, further solidifying his position as a rising star in the rugby league world. Over the years, Gutherson has continued to demonstrate his prowess on the field, earning selection for the New South Wales and City Origin sides, as well as the Prime Minister’s XIII.
