Depression is something a lot of people are going through in the privacy of their homes. Some people take to social media to vent and express themselves so as a result they tend to come off as overly loud and boisterous people. Some people even use jokes and other comic things to entertain themselves and hide their depression from the world.

Well, Ghanaian actress cum entrepreneur, Vicky Zugah has a word of caution to people out there suffering from depression.

According to the beautiful actress in an Instagram post sighted by, a lot of people who have died as a result of depression.

She explained that there are a lot of unhappy people out there who are pretending to be fine on social media.

She advised her fans and the public not to be quick to assume that everything is fine with someone based on what they see on social media.

She wrote; I’ve seen unhappy comedians. I’ve also heard a medical doctor died of malaria. Don’t assume people are okay based on what they do or post on social media. Depression is real. Depression kills. Check on your loved ones. If you are reading this and are depressed, please stay strong. It’s just a phase, it will pass and you’ll be genuinely happy again, I promise. I love you. Please stay alive.”
