George Quaye is still talking about why his outfit, Charterhouse should not take the flak for the unprecedented scuffle which occurred between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale which grounded the live telecast of the 2019 VGMAs to be halted for over an hour as patrons fled the auditorium when the former pulled out a gun.
Yesterday during the finals of the Champions League which was won by Liverpool after beating Tottenham 2-0, a lady, who was later identified as a model from Russia invaded the pitch just before the half time.
George Quaye, the Head of Communications at Charterhouse found the perfect opportunity to hit back at those who accused the organizers of the VGMA for having poor security which resulted in the melee that ensued between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
He said despite the 5000 security personnel, drones, dogs and other security measures, the lady still managed to invade the pitch.
They had them all! Over 5000 security personnel. Drones, scanners, dogs…over 300 uniformed security personnel round the perimeter of the pitch between the game and the fans. Yet this sister managed to bring the game to a hold when she run onto the pitch (probably to congratulate the ref!). Clearly many of us have a rather limited appreciation or understanding of the words “security” and “breach”. Congrats to the fake reds! Better luck next time to the Spurs. #uefachampionsleague#ourmusiclives#ynwa
