Paa George voiced his grievances before actress Gloria Sarfo and her friends when they visited him at his residence in Accra as part of her birthday on the 4th of April. The actress as part of her birthday celebration donated gifts and an undisclosed amount of money to 12 veteran actors. Namely, Maame Dokono, Grace Nortey, Fred Amugi, William Addo, Prince Yawson aka Waakye, Kojo Dadson, Rama Brew, Papa Nii, Dzifa Glikpoe and Sam Adjetefio aka Taxi Driver, others.

Paa George who couldn’t hide his excitement upon receiving the gift advised the actress to continue to work hard and not be envious of anyone in the industry because being envious is not healthy. He also used the opportunity to appeal to Ghanaians that they should come to his aid whiles he is alive and not wait for him to die.

“One thing I will tell you is that there are philantropists in this country who have and can help, I remember what Musiga and Hon Keneddy Agyapong did for veteran musicians such as Nana Ampadu, late C.K Mann, Jewel Ackah etc, they gave them something to help them, but who is helping us the veteran actors? They should remember us and help us, like what happened at Ebony’s funeral, people gave as much as hundred thousand, and did she see it? They waited for her to die before making huge donations. They should try and help us whiles we are alive”, he sorrowfully pleaded.
