US-based Ghanaian gospel musician Dr. Sonnie Badu has capitalized on his recent social media banter with one Manuel Mensah over claims that his degrees are not real to outdoor a T-shirt with the inscription, ‘Lion Over Frogs’.

During his defence in relation to his degrees earned in the space of four months, Sonnie Badu in a number of Facebook posts, rubbished the claims made by the social media user as he indicated that he was not going to speak on the matter.

In a subtle response to the issue, the founder and leader of Rock Hill Church posted a photo of himself displaying one of his degrees and captioned it: “When they don’t understand the frequency of your grace and your hard work behind the scenes they bring their own PHD (pull him down) LIONS DONT RESPOND TO FROGS … #DrBadu”

He has, however, capitalized on the feud and his famous phrase, “LIONS DONT RESPOND TO FROGS” to raise funds through the sale of the T-shirts to help a dying friend.

According to Sonnie, he is printing only a limited 100 pieces of the T-shirt, urging those who love him to hurry and buy them at $100 (GHS577).

The monies from the sale of the T-shirt according to Sonnie Badu is aimed at raising funds to support the family of his friend who has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
