DreamCatcher is South Korea girl group which operates under the Happyface Entertainment. The group was formally known as MINX.

The MINX debuted with the release of a single titled Did You Come to My Home in the year 2014 with its initial five members namely JiU, SuA, Soyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dani.

After two years of debuting, the Happyface Entertainment agency made an announcement of re-debut arrangement to transform the MINX group into a new girl group with two new members, Gahyeon, and Handong.

The group then re-debuted with new concept, new group name and new members on January 13, 3017. They released the debut single album titled Nightmare with the lead single Chase Me. Another single titled Fall Asleep in the Mirror with the lead single Good Night in April.

DreamCatcher’s first extended play was Prequel which was released on July 27, 2017. Their second extended play title Escaor the Era was released in the year 2018.

Later on September 20, 3018, the DreamCatcher released their third EP titled Alone in the City and subsequently released the 4th EP known as The End of Nightmares in February 2019.

JiU

Kim Min Ji popularly known as JiU was born in Daejeon, South Korea on May 17, 1994. She is the leader, lead vocalist, lead dancer and visual of the group

She attended the Darjeon Gubong High School and professionalized in singing and dancing. She stands at a height of 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs at 49 kilograms

SuA

Kim Bo Ra popularly known as SuA was born on August 10, 1994 in Changwon, South Korea. She is the main dancer, lead rapper and sub vocalist of the DreamCatcher group

She enrolled at the Sacred Girls High School and her profession is singing, dancing and rapping. She stands at a height of 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs at 42 kilograms.

Siyeon

Lee Si Yeon was born on October, 1, 1995 in Daegu, South Korea. She is the main vocalist of the DreamCatcher group

She enrolled at the Jinseon Girls’ High School and specializes in singing, dancing and songwriting. She stands at a height of 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs at 49 kilograms

Handong

Han Dong was born in Wuhan, China on March 26, 1996. She is the sub vocalist of the group.

She attended the Sejeong University and professionalized in singing and dancing. She stands at a height of 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs at 46 kilograms

Yoohyeon

Kim Yoo Huron took birth at Bupyeong-gu, Incheon in South Korea on January 7, 1997. She holds the position of the lead vocalist of the group

She attended the Incheon Sangok High School and specializes in singing and dancing. She stands at a height of 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs at 49 kilograms

Dami

Lee Yu Bin who goes by the stage name Dami was born on March 7, 1997 in Seoul, South Korea. She is the main rapper, lead dancer and sub vocalist of the DreamCatcher group

She attended the Jinseon Girls’ High School and specializes in singing, dancing and rapping. She stands at a height of 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs at 44 kilograms.

Gahyeon
