The Petitioner in the 2020 Election Petition case brought before the Supreme Court has said the failure of the 1st Respondent to testify is embarrassing.
According to Mahama, the apex court deliberately shielded the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission from accounting to Ghanaians on how she handled and managed the 2020 Election.
Speaking to Ghanaians a few hours after the Supreme Court has dismissed his case, Mr Mahama says he believes that should Jean Mensa had been allowed to testify, the outcome of the Election Petition would have taken a different turn.
“It is embarrassing that Jean Mensa was not allowed to testify. It was a deliberate attempt by the court to shield him from public scrutiny…, he said.
