The Supreme Court has ordered the petitioner, John Dramani Mahama to file his witness statements and arguments in response to the objection raised by the respondents latest by Wednesday, January 27 in the ongoing Presidential Election.

The Supreme Court during its last sitting on Wednesday, January 20, declared that all parties file their witness statement by Thursday noon.

The court has also communicated its discontent with the behavior of the petitioner and informed him that it will take the necessary actions if its order for filing of witness statements and arguments are failed to be met by the given deadline.

The court has also stated that these actions include the dismissal of the Presidential Election Petition.
The court on Tuesday, January 26, did not permit any of the motions but rather insisted that its orders given earlier be complied with.
