In the short video, two heavily-built policemen physically assaulted Epixode, bundled him aggressively and dragged him like a hardened criminal in a bid to arrest him.

The reason for his arrest was not known and people wondered why he was handled in such a way by the Police.

Well, according to Epixode, they were driving a car with a DV number plate at night in Tema and issued got worse during interrogations that’s why he was arrested.

“We were stopped by the police around 11-12 am on our way back from a meeting in Tema. I don’t really know Tema so most of the time we end up using the map. My manager was the one driving. They gave us signals for some time but we couldn’t stop on time…we were trying to make it to a studio around East Legon. They started questioning my manager, asked for the necessary documents of which we provided.

“They were back and forth for some time while I was sitting in the car. We were not over speeding but we were using a DV number plate. I went out of the car when I heard the police shouting at my manager. Tempers were high at that time but there was no physical attack. I got pissed because we provided everything that they asked but they still refused to let us go,” he said.
