Fantana cannot say she is the biggest dancehall artiste in Ghana, she has not reached that level yet- Bulldog

Bulldog believes it was erroneous for Fantana to brand herself as the biggest Dancehall artiste in Ghana when in actual fact, her music repertoire cannot sustain that claim.

Fantana, who was previously housed under Rufftown Records until she left the vibrant record label acrimoniously, recently caused a stir on the Netflix series ‘Young, Famous and African’ when she stated that she was the biggest dancehall musician in Ghana.

While her statement caused ‘commotion’ on the Ghanaian landscape of the internet, the issue was dissected by pundits of the popular United Showbiz programme on UTV on Saturday.

Bullgod refuted her claim, stating that she lacks the repertoire necessary to claim to be the biggest dancehall musician.

Fantana is ineligible to be ranked among the greatest artists in Ghana, in his opinion, because she lacks the repertory that every major artist should have.

“If you weigh the matter, she is not. You need a lot of catalogs to do that…For somebody to say they are big, if Sarkodie says he is big, there are works to show, likewise, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy because there are works to show.

Patapaa had one of the biggest songs in Ghana but he never ended up being a big artiste because he didn’t continue the catalog.

That’s what makes you an artiste and Fantana doesn’t have it. She is talented. She is beautiful. She has everything to be the biggest, maybe she is talking about her future. So, when she comes, she should put in the work,” he charged.
