Boxer Floyd Mayweather is willing to foot the funeral bills of George Floyd who was lost his life over racism.

According to a tweet by TMZ, Mayweather has given a Cheque of $88,5000 to the family of the African American murdered by a Police in Minneapolis.

Several media outlets in United States of America have confirmed that the family of George Floyd has accepted the offer.

Historically, George Perry Floyd, a black man, was killed in the Powderhorn community of Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States on May 25, 2020.

While Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on a city street during an arrest, Derek Chauvin, a white American Minneapolis police officer, kept his knee on the right side of Floyd’s neck for almost nine minutes till Floyd became unresponsive.
