For My Sake, You’ll Be Proud That You’re A Ghanaian – John Mahama

John Dramani Mahama of National Democratic Congress (NDC) fame has urged Ghanaians to give him their votes on December 7, 2020.

Speaking on Woezor TV, the former president noted that interventions and opportunities being brought by the next NDC government will make Ghanaians feel proud of themselves.

He cited several promises in the NDC’s ‘People’s Manifesto’ including increased maternity leave, free primary healthcare, massive job creation amongst others.

Mahama stated, “this is why I am running for President. I will make you proud to be a Ghanaian. I will make you proud of who you are, make you hope for what we can become – a truly developed nation. Be proud of what we can become as a country and join me in my quest to lead our country there, by voting for me, John Mahama, number 2 on the ballot paper on 7th December.”

Historically, John Dramani Mahama is a Ghanaian politician who served as President of Ghana from 24 July 2012 to 7 January 2017. He previously served as Vice President of Ghana from January 2009 to July 2012 and took office as President on 24 July 2012 following the death of his predecessor, John Atta Mills.
