Keche used their official Twitter account to give Freezy Macbones some advice shortly after he triumphed over his Nigerian opponent at the Bukom Arena on Saturday night.
Since the message was sent on their Twitter profile, it is assumed that the Keche duo wrote it together, even though it is unclear who authored it. Keche says that although Freezy Backbone won, his moves are predictable and weak, so he needs a good trainer.
They stressed that skill and dynamism are just as important in boxing as strength, which Freezy probably possesses in abundance. The message is centred around Freezy Macbone’s outstanding debut in Ghana, when he defeated Salami Oladimeji of Nigeria in a thrilling round-three match.
His strong punching abilities were useful, as he controlled the fight from the beginning. On Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Bokum Arena, Oladimeji was knocked out in the third round by Freezy’s well-placed punches. Salami Oladimeji, a Senegalese boxer, took Seydou Konate’s place in the battle after the latter withdrew.
The fight was initially supposed to be a rematch between Freezy and Konate, as Konate had won over Freezy in the September 2023 Africa Olympic Qualifications in Senegal. However, Seydou Konate withdrew due to unanticipated events, and the promoters got Salami Oladimeji as a replacement.
However, Keche is not impressed and immediately after the bout, they posted:
“Freeze needs a very good trainer, his moves are weak, he can go very far if he gets a very good trainer, boxing is not only about strength. ❤️🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️❤️❤️🙏🏿”
