Freya Ridings is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from North London. She rose to fame in 2017 with “Lost Without You,” a ballad that quickly became a hit and landed in the top ten on the UK Singles Chart. In 2019, Ridings released “You Mean the World to Me,” which was re-produced by Greg Kurstin and an extended play of the same name. She also announced her self-titled debut album, which was initially set for release on May 31, 2019, but was eventually pushed back to July 19, 2019.
She also perform on the John Peel stage at Glastonbury on June 29, 2019, after festival founder Michael Eavis attended one of her concerts in Bristol. She then toured Australia for the first time in March 2020, performing shows in Sydney and Melbourne. In January 2023, Ridings made a comeback by releasing her first new single in three years titled “Weekends.” She followed this up with the announcement of her second studio album, “Blood Orange,” which is set to be released on May 5, 2023.
