Your Favorite entertainment blog, www.ghbase.com earlier reported that Killbeatz had won a Grammy Award for being a producer on a song titled ‘Bibia Beye Yee’ on Ed Sheeran’s album, ‘Divide’. Well, it’s not only Killbeatz who would be getting a Participation certificate from Grammys but Ghanaian based Afro Pop Musician Fuse ODG will also be getting his Grammy’s Certificate of participation as he was also one of the co-writers for Ed Sheeran’s album, Divide.

The musician who is super excited about the news of winning a Grammy for the first time, in a Tweet, expressed his excitement and thanked Ed Sheeran for giving him the opportunity.

Fuse ODG was the one who got Ed Sheeran to visit Ghana and taught him some words in Twi and exposed the ‘Shape Of You’ star to the rich culture we have here in Ghana.

Ed Sheeran has two songs where he sang in Twi; “Boa mi and Bebia Be Ye Ye”.

Since news broke that Killbeatz and Fuse ODG have won a Grammy Award, other Ghanaian musicians have started showing great interest in winning a Grammy soon again and we shared a story earlier about EL’s desire to win a Grammy soon.

Mugeez of R2bees has also posted today on Instagram about his desire to win a Grammy–I mean, who doesn’t want to win an award from the biggest music award show in the whole world?

Sarkodie has been aiming the Grammys as well for years now and has mentioned it several times in his songs and in interviews.

Congrats to Fuse ODG for winning for this one but more importantly, special thanks to Ed Sheeran for giving them the opportunities.
