Comedian DKB has suffered public ridicule for sometime now over his wack or poor performance during the Event Factory organized – Easter Comedy Jam which took place on April 16, 2017.

Among the comedians who performed on the day, DKB became the talk of town after the comedy show.  I do not like the vibe of the place. I do not like the energy, something is off,” were some of the words of the acclaimed King of GH. Comedy, DKB, in what turned out to be one of the frustrating nights for the comedian.

His entry was not energizing as usually seen and that lukewarm entrance characterized his entire set. It is unusual as for the first time in so many years, DKB failed to get the crowd overly excited.

As a result, all the sex-influenced jokes and insults-ridden material he shared did not hit home and he felt it. Therefore, to act like a man, he made it clear to the audience that it was not working and he had to make way for another act.

While majority of Ghanaians especially those who attended the event could not hold their anger on DBK performance on the night, George Quaye, formal public relations officer for Charterhouse Ghana, the organisers of Ghana Music Awards has jumped in to support the flop-comedian.

George Quaye could no longer hold the bash his colleague has been receiving, therefore he took to Facebook and posted his sentiment on the issue. Check what he wrote below.

George Quaye Supports Comedian DBK

Although, DKB has been applauded when ever he give out his best, therefore he should be ready to receive criticisms from the public as well. Simply put, it’s the responsibility of every comedian to make available audience laugh because they’ve paid for what they deserve.

Therefore, DKB and George Quaye shouldn’t expect Ghanaians to praise them after performing abysmally. Comedian DKB should brief up his game as Nigerian comedians have always been regarded as the best when rated among Ghanaian comedians. Our comedians should learn how to embrace constructive criticisms and use them to their benefits.
