A Ghanaian woman has allegedly ended her relationship with her partner based in Ghana after her migration to the United Kingdom, according to a recent disclosure that has sparked debate.
Her decision, as she admitted in an interview, is a result of her refusal to provide financial support for her partner’s relocation to the United Kingdom.
In expressing her position, the woman said that she is hesitant to spend her money to send her partner to the UK, preferring to help her siblings instead.
She emphasized that her boyfriend is free to seek his own sources of income and go to the UK, but she is unwilling to support his trip.
During the interview, the woman said that if her lover can independently obtain the means to accompany her overseas, they may reassess their relationship.
However, she said that if he stayed in Ghana without such preparations, their love relationship would cease.
In answer to the host’s question regarding some men bringing their spouses to the UK, the woman reaffirmed her stance, calling it a waste of her money.
