Ghana Boxing Authority Slaps Patrick Allotey With Ban After Beating Kotoko Fan

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has banned Ghanaian boxer, Patrick Allotey for his infamous assault of a fan of Kumasi Asante Kotoko during their crunch encounter with rivals Accra Hearts Of Oak.

Allotey beat up the fan, identified as Micheal Siaw when he celebrated Kotoko’s victory right in front of him at the Accra Sports Stadium which greatly incensed him.

He asked Siaw to leave his presence when came to stand in front of him to make wild celebratory gestures but the defiant fan who was overly excited and did know he was dealing with a boxer, refused to heed to his warning.

Allotey subsequently gave him series of blows that saw him sprawling on the floor as other spectators at stadium intervened.
