It was a beautiful and a sweet victory today for the Ghana Black Stars as they played against Congo in their home country today for the Russia 2018 Qualification-Third Stage. The Black Stars crushed the Congolese side in a 5-1 Victory.

The first goal came in for Ghana by Richmond Boakye  in the 23rd minute of the game. He also managed to land the last goal for Ghana in the 85th minute.

Thomas Partey who plays for Atletico Madrid, scored 3 goals in the game with 2 goals  in the first half of the match in the 26th and 45+2 minute of the game. He scored another goal in the second half in the 69th minute.

The Congolese side however, ended up scoring just a goal, which happened in the 43rd minute of the first half.

Although Ghana has won today’s game, it’s almost an impossible mission for the Black Stars to make it to Russia 2018. Ghana currently sits 3rd on the table, and would only have some chance if Egypt and Uganda’s game ends up in a draw tonight.
