Ghana Election 2020: “Don’t vote today for a candidate who buys houses for slay queens” – Prophet Kofi Oduro warns

As Ghanaians prepare to cast their ballot today, December 7, 2020, Prophet Kofi Oduro has admonished Ghanaians especially his church members to vote for a man with integrity and character.

Speaking during a church service on Sunday, December 6, 2020, the man of God said voters should not just allow themselves to be deceived by the so-called achievements of a government but seek a candidate with an unquestionable character.

Prophet Kofi Oduro said Ghanaian voters should not vote for a candidate that uses state resources to buy houses for girls, who will later speak” nonsense” on social media or a candidate who sleeps with women who visit them in the office.

Voting, he explained, is a civic responsibility, hence Ghanaians should elect someone who would manage the resources of the state well.

He said the church members should know that voting for someone means that you have given your rights and privileges to the person. He said when the power goes into the hands of a wrong person, the voter should know that they have put the wrong person there.

As said earlier, today, December 7 is slated for Ghana’s general elections. Ghana is a two-party state, no matter how one chooses to define our political landscape. It’s a two-party state and you are either with them or you do not have a voice at all.

To some people, NDC is a scary alternative and in fact, doesn’t qualify to even be an alternative considering how Mahama came to power to mess up businesses with his constant power outage – Dumsor.

On the other hand, Nana Akufo Addo is arguably winning the heart of the majority with his Free SHS which has become NPP’s most laudable campaign message since.

So, let’s all go out today and vote and more importantly in peace. Don’t forget, peace is the only thing we can boast of as people taking into consideration how our leaders keep messing up things.
