Gospel Minister, Dr Sonnie Badu, based in the UK, has said that he would want to see actor and farmer, John Dumelo, contesting on the ticket of the NDC at the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Accra, win the Parliamentary seat there.
The Minister, who says he is staying away from politics as advised by a wise man, said he has chosen to back Dumelo for victory, describing him as a brother and a friend and thereby wishing him the best of luck.
“Whiles I stay away from politics as Advised by a wise man, I choose to wish this man, my brother and friend the best of luck,” he wrote.
Sonnie Badu further stated that he (Badu) is a national asset and serves all president but he would want to see John Dumelo win the election in his constituency.
“now guys hear me .. I am a national asset and I serve all presidents, but I would love to see this man win,” he added.
With the support John is enjoying out there, it is shaping up to be a hot contest in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency where the incumbent, Madam Lydia Alhassan will surely be given a run for her money.
The “Baba” hit singer concluded his endorsement of the gentle actor wanting to enter Ghana’s Parliament by saying that he was proud of him.
