Ghana Election 2020: NPP shouldn’t have campaigned looking at Akufo Addo’s massive projects and policies – Alan Kyerematen

Hon. John Alan Kyerematen has envisaged that considering the massive projects and policies under Akuffo Addo, NPP shouldn’t have campaigned ahead of the Dec 7 elections.

But Hon. Kyerematen who is Ghana’s incumbent Minister for Trade and Industry said that NPP is campaigning just to re-echo the works they have done in the space of 4 years.

Addressing a durbar at Offinso South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, he said that President Akufo-Addo made a promise that he will introduce free Senior High School and the social interventions of which he has fulfilled them.

“Nana Akufo-Addo said that if you vote for him, he will restore the Teacher and Nurses trainee allowances and he has done it.”

The Trade and Industry Minister noted that President Akufo Addo within the four years in office has been able to create additional six new Regions which is unprecedented in the history of Ghana.

He, therefore, postulated that elections are held because of development, “and if that is the case then you should vote in your numbers.” he said.
