Ghana Election 2020: UCC Lecturer Defeats NPP’s Barbara Ayisi In Cape Coast North

Cape Coast North Barbara Ayisi of NPP fame has been shown the exit from Parliament after being defeated by a Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The Deputy Minister For works and Housing was able to poll 21, 643 of the votes cast on the day whiles the National Democratic Congress’ Dr. Kwamena Mintah Nyarku polled 22,972 of the votes cast.

For the Presidential elections, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo polled 24,360 whiles NDC’s John Dramani Mahama got 20,105.

Don’t forget, NDC’s Dr. Kwamena Mintah Nyarku was disqualified during the voter registration but fought his way back to the ballot paper through the court. Congratulations to him regardless.
