Ghanaian artistes don’t support their own; they don’t even post local event flyers on their IG pages – Ruthy fumes

“Ghanaians don’t support their own” has been the slogan on the lips of almost every local artiste.

To these artistes, Ghanaians are quick to give massive online support to Nigerian acts and any other foreign national while their homegrown talents suffer to trend for 42 minutes hours on Twitter.

But to the best knowledge of Ruthy in the studio of Nhyira FM over the weekend, Ghanaian artistes too should be blamed as they don’t support local events that they have been billed to perform including their interviews on local radio.

To her observation, some artistes don’t even post their radio interview flyers on their social media channels for reasons best known to them.

She noted that our artistes are in haste to share a blog post about them from a Togolese website which has no significant traffic as compared to the local websites and the same thing applies to local events and radio interviews.
