Ghanaian Man Storms Ghana Card Registration Center With Gun & Gives Warning Shots To Halt The Process Over Coronavirus

A daring man reportedly stormed one of the registration centres of the National Identification Authority to fire warning shots so they can halt the process because it’s not conducive amidst the prevailing covid-19.

Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh confirmed this to Adom News. The incident occurred Thursday, March 19, 2020 at about 7:40am at Obeyemi a farming community near Oterkpelu in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The suspect identified as Stephen Tetteh, according to Starr News sources, had threatened the NIA officials to stop working since the exercise could endanger the health of applicants in the midst of coronavirus outbreak.

The man as we can guess from his action is infuriated that despite the ban placed on public gathering, the ‘Ghana Card’ thing is still ongoing.
