Ghanaians are not worth fighting for, let’s stop the FixTheCountry movement and watch them suffer – Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah to other convenors

Radio and Television show host, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah who also doubles as an integral member of the FixTheCountry movement has asked his colleagues in the movement to take a step back and watch Ghanaians suffer because they are not worth fighting for.

His remark comes after the Ghanaian police issued an injunction on their June 4th rally after they stated that they would walk around with their firearms and weapons.

On his ‘Abranaa So’ show on TV XYZ, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah addressed the matter, saying that he strongly feels that all of the convenors have done their best for the country and that it is time for them to stand aside and do things individually like it was before.

He used the example of what happened lately in Appiate, in the Western Region, when a chemical explosion wiped out a whole population.

He also utilized the recent flood troubles plaguing the country to make the argument that, despite the number of people dying every day, Ghanaians have failed to rise to speak truth to power, and that when people commit themselves to fight for them, they turn around and fight against them.

He cited the recent incident at Appiate, in the Western Region, in which a chemical explosion wiped out an entire community.

He also used the country’s current flood problems to argue that, despite the number of people dying every day, Ghanaians have failed to rise to speak truth to power, and that when people pledge to fight for them, they turn around and fight against them.
