Ghanaians descend on Kenyan Pastor over his sermon on Ashanti names and their meaning [Video]

A Kenyan pastor, Dr. K.N Jacob has incurred the anger of some Ghanaians following his sermon on Ashanti names and their meaning.

The man of God at Christ is the Answer Ministries auditorium centered his sermon on the impact of names on people as a whole.

It was during the sermon that he stressed on some Ghanaian names and their meanings which he got some wrong.

His explanation for the names of the week as he stressed is what angered some Ghanaians who jumped to the defense of the Ashanti tribe and the meaning he gave to certain names.

According to Dr. K N Jacob, Ashantis as we’ve known name their children after the days of the week and stressed that children born on Mondays are name Akwasi which is wrong, and rather Kwadwo or Kojo.

He mentioned children born these days are generous and kind and that most leaders in government institutions, corporate leaders, and well-known entrepreneurs are born on this day.

While explaining the name Kwaku, he mentioned that they are wicked, mean rough arrogant terrible and government statistics show that 75% of crimes committed in Ghana are committed by people born on Wednesdays.

Ghanaians on social media who disagreed with his research on the meaning of the names schooled him on what they thought was right.
