Ghanaians roast Cwesi Oteng for urging that people should embrace e-Levy, Says there’s nothing wrong with it

Ghanaian gospel singer, Cwesi Oteng has found himself on the wrath of Ghanaians on social media after urging people to pay the e-levy to enable Government raise funds for the development of the country.

The singer made this known in an interview with Zionfelix as he revealed that he fully support the e-Levy introduced hence people who are kicking against it should change their minds to help the gov’t get revenue for development.

According to him, if the government deduct money from his momo account it makes him happy as he feels he’s doing something to help the country adding there’s nothing wrong with it.

Cwesi Oteng’s comment seems to have not sit down well with many on social media as some criticize him for his opinion and others too blasting him.

The introduction of e-Levy has faced opposition from the minority side in Parliament and Ghanaians have bitterly complained about the hardships it will bring
