Ghanaians have become accustomed to awaiting prophecies on the eve of a new year as various churches are usually packed, filled with regular attendees, returnees, as well as first-time visitors.
Depending on the popularity and the accuracy of prophecies by the leaders and pastors of the congregation, people will throng the premise in their numbers.
But in Ghana, bunch of the prophecies that dominate the media space after 31st December Watch Night services are all prophecies of doom largely about the pending death of Ghanaian celebrities.
But prior to 31st December 2021, the Ghana Police service said it will prosecute any pastor, prophet, or bishop who prophesies harm, danger, and death of any individual or group without proof of the prophecy being true.
And lo and behold, 31st December Watch Night just-ended and no man of God got the balls to prophesy about the death of a Ghanaian celebrity or mass burn of markets in Ghana as it has always been the case in the previous years.
Reacting to this, Realest Blogger is a firm believer that in as much as IGP Dampare deserves commendation, Shatta Wale needs not to be forgotten as he played a vital role in this great sanity in the Christendom.
Don’t forget how Shatta Wale faked his death and ended up in Ankaful prisons because of a gun-shot prophecy on his life by one acclaimed man of God called Jesus Ahourfe.
“First in history! Ghana’s IGP Dampare has silenced all the so-called prophets who hear God’s voice only on 31st December. The nonsense should have stopped longest but there’s time for everything.
“No bunch of baseless prophecies this time. It’s only in Africa especially Ghana that every school dropout buys 25ghc RSV Bible and starts calling himself Prophet and starts saying doom stuff riding on Holy Ghost and Spirits!
“And this is the time. The end of doom prophecies courtesy of IGP George Dampare. In fact, applause to the man in Black apparel.
“But logically, big ups to Shatta Wale. He put his life in danger to make this happen. Y’all know how he faked his death to end up in Ankaful prison not long ago.
“Shatta Wale do all.. He’ll go into the history books of Ghana music. If we’re to be honest as Ghanaians, we should start running a documentary about the character of “Shatta Wale” in Ghana Music”, Realest Blogger stated on Facebook.
