“Ghanaians should applaud us for always fighting in parliament instead of lambasting us” – MP claims

In recent times, the conversation that have been going on among Ghanaian discussions is the issue of lawmakers in parliament fighting themselves despite they being addressed as honorable members.

The act of parliamentarians fighting themselves has widely been kicked against by the Ghanaian populace however it seems some MPs still want to be appreciated for disgracing themselves in the house.

A member of Parliament has indicated that the act of Ghanaians lambasting them for dirtying their body isn’t fair as they are fighting for a good course hence they should be applauded.

The Member of Parliament who made this known is the MP for Bibiani-Anhwiaso Bekwai constituency, Alfred Obeng Boateng says it was a fight of a genuine desire between the Majority and Minority in parliament.

He made this known in the latest interview on JoyNews as he indicated they desire to safeguard the public interest.

In his words, “I’m sure everybody knows that what went on, I mean that extend was wrong but we should also appreciate the fact that we have two watch men watching your property so even though the two watchmen you saw them fighting, you should also find out the intention”
