Ghana’s cases of the novel Coronavirus have gone up to 378.
This was made known by President Nana Akufo-Addo during his 6th national address on COVID-19 to the nation on Thursday, April 9, 2020.
President Akufo-Addo said the news cases were detected through the ongoing enhanced contact tracing and testing exercise.
He explained that this development calls for an extension of the two-weeks partial lockdown imposed on the Greater Accra, Kumasi and Kasoa by another one week, subject to review.
The one-week lockdown extension takes effect Monday, April 13, 2020.
