Rapper Sarkodie, has, for the first time, paid renowned tribute to highlife sensation Castro after six years of his disappearance.
On 6 July 2014, Castro and Miss Janet Bandu were reported to have drowned following a jet ski accident in Ada Estuary while on holiday with the Gyan brothers.
Hopes have been high ever since with many expecting him to arrive anytime soon. Rumours of his appearance have also been rife but the fact is Castro is yet to be seen.
Per customs, after seven years of his disappearance, if there is no sign of him, the family will declare him dead and put up a befitting funeral for him.
The mortal remains of Castro and his girlfriend is yet to be discovered after their disappearance.
Following the contribution of Castro to the growth of the local music industry and the push he gave to the careers of many including Kofi Kinaata, Sarkodie has taken to Twitter to eulogize him.
It is understandable for Sarkodie to be appreciative of Castro especially when his song ‘Adonai’ which was a remix with Castro is currently the most viewed Ghanaian music video on YouTube.
The Adonai song which was recorded some six years ago currently has over 75 million views and it is very welcoming for Sarkodie to appreciate Castro and ask for God’s blessing on his life with unabated hope of his eventual return.
God bless CASTRO
