The Baba Yara Stadium will host Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s encounter against RC Kadiogo in the second round of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
The move is a result of the CAF Club Licensing Directorate approving Asante Kotoko SC’s use of the Baba Yara Stadium as a home field.
Working together, the Club, the GFA, and the National Sports Authority got the Stadium approved for club use. The 2022 match is set to begin at 3:00pm on Sunday, September 18.
Meanwhile, Patrick Tanguy Jean Phillipe Vlei of Ivory Coast has been selected as the match’s referee.
