Ghanaian gospel musicians over the years have been touted as artists who cannot add rap to their songs due to how it originated and the perception around it.
Though it has changed for the past few years with gospel music trio, Preachers changing the face of the gospel genre in Ghana with their gospel rap songs.
In this has Bernice Ansah, known for songs like ‘Immigration No Aye Tight’, ‘Meda wase’, ‘Turning Around’, ‘You Deserve All The Glory’, just to mention a few have shown that some gospel musicians have dynamic abilities when it comes to music.
The Ghanaian gospel diva in a performance over the weekend captured by SVTV Africa showed Ghanaians what she is truly made of as she dazzled guest at party with her rap after singing her popular gospel songs.
When SVTV Africa caught up with her after her stunning rap delivery, she expressed her interest in working with BET award winner Sarkodie.
“After this performance, I would like to feature Sarkodie. No, Rihanna is quite hot and might be difficult, but Sarkodie is home to home, so I want Sarkodie,” she hinted.
The ‘Gbenzegbenze’ hitmaker urged fans to get her latest songs on all digital platforms across the world and also entreated them and gospel music lovers to be on the watch out for her next hit jam
