The man of the moment in Ghana as we speak is nobody but Shatta Wale. Y’all know his historic collaboration with Beyoncé which has taken over the media space.

As usual of Shatta Wale, he has been talking since and making a lot of weird claims and suggestions of which this publication seeks to bring to light one of the proclamations.

Thus, Shatta Wale has asked government to declare today a holiday in celebration of his collaboration with Beyoncé. To Shatta Wale, it would be great if the Akufo-Addo led administration take his request into consideration and make July 19 a work-free-day.

He said that will be a way we can celebrate the success of our musicians in the country for entertaining us with good songs and putting Ghana on the map.

“Being in a studio is not an easy thing. Andy you’ve been there a couple of times and you know what I mean. To rack your brain to write lyrics is not an easy thing. So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everybody,” he told Andy Dosty.

He added , “Today should even be a holiday if the ministry and government are listening to me”. More importantly, Shatta Wale pleaded with the government to pay attention to the creative arts industry like the sports industry.
