‘Having Dreadlocks And Tattoos Doesn’t Mean You Are A Criminal’ – Nigerian Police PRO Says

Nigerian police PRO, Dolapo Badmus has cleared the misconception that people have about people who sport dreadlocks and have tattoos.

The beautiful Police spokesperson said there’s no law that targets people who sport dreadlocks and tattoo wearers as law breakers or criminals so people who find themselves in this category should know this and know their right.

She made this known when she joined the panelists of the social media week seminar to address the topic – “Social Media Wars- Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords’.

She said

”Having a tattoo on your body or dreadlocks on your head does not automatically make you a criminal.“

She advised people who find themselves in a situation where an officer wants to charge you for having dreads or tattoos to arrest, threat, or terrorize them to remain calm and insist on not being a criminal for having a tattoo or dread locks respectfully.
