Here’s What Nana Akuffo Addo Had To Say After He Learned The Former Vice-President Amissah Arthur Has Died

We woke to hear a very shocking news about the death of the former vice president of Ghana, Paa Kwasi Amissah Arthur, who died at the 37 Military hospital after been rushed there from the Air Force Gym where he collapsed.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has sent a heartfelt condolatory message to the family of former vice president of Ghana, Dr. Amissah Arthur and described him as a longstanding public servant who discharged his duties with dignity.

President Nana Akuffo Addo also extended his condolences to the wife, children and family of late Dr. Amissah-Arthur as well as to former President of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of which the former Vice President was a prominent member.

He posted on his official Facebook page:

“I have learnt with shock and great sadness the sudden death of the former Vice President of the Republic, His Excellency Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur. He has been a longstanding public servant, who discharged his duties with dignity. The news of his death is unfortunate, since he appeared to have a lot to contribute to the public life of our country.

My thoughts and sympathies are with his wife, children and family. I extend my deepest condolences to them, and also to the former President of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and to the National Democratic Congress, of which the former Vice President was a prominent member. Ghana has lost a fine public servant.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
