In 2013, Sarkodie released a song titled “illuminati” aimed at dispelling rumours making the rounds that he was a member of the secret society. The visuals of the song was shot in Dubai by Phamous Philms. It had the phrase “Don’t judge a man negatively by his success; we all have 24 hours in day” written at the end.

Enough, a viral video sighted by GHBase.Com captures a prophetess whose name is given as Osofo Maame Perpetual predicting that Ghana’s finest rapper Sarkodie will disappear someday like Castro.

According to the prophetess, the SarkCess Music CEO is engaged in occultism and Illuminati and that if he does not put a stop to them, he will vanish into thin air like Ghana’s very own Castro who went missing since 2014.

For clarity sake, the illuminati is a name given to several groups, both real and fictitious. Historically, the name usually refers to the Bavarian Illuminati, an Enlightenment-era secret society founded on 1 May 1776. The society’s goals were to oppose superstition, obscurantism, religious influence over public life, and abuses of state power.
