How a flight of ‘stubborn’ birds stopped a KLM aircraft from flying at the Kotoka Int’l

Apparently, a flight of birds grounded an aircraft that was scheduled to fly to Amsterdam from Accra, which has resulted in a full-scale investigation to be launched to ascertain what actually happened.

The Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) in a statement issued on Friday evening said the body is bent on unraveling the mystery behind the birds strike.

According to a statement, the birds strike “close to the windshield of the aircraft.”

The airline has commenced processes to get passengers back to their final destinations as soon as possible,” the statement added.
