How Asamoah Gyan broke my heart 11years ago-Cookie Tee

Ghanaian journalist Media Shirley Tibilla, professionally known as Cookie Tee has said Ghana’s most prolific marksman of all time Asamoah Gyan shattered her heart into pieces years ago.

While speaking to TV3 sports journalist Komla Adom, Cookie Tee who said she is a sports enthusiast, recalled how Asmaoah Gyam missed Ghana’s crucial penalty at the World Cup staged in South Africa that could have historically sent the Black Stars to the semi-finals of the football Mundial.

Cookie Tee disclosed that the penalty Gyan missed eleven years ago broke her heart into pieces and it still echoes in her subconscious mind.

“The first human being to break my heart is Asamoa Gyan. that was 11 years ago after he missed a penalty Which could have brought me joy,” Cookie Tee revealed.

”Actually it was very painful. However, I’m glad that the love for football in me is building up. I can’t keep the love for football as I Support Team Ghana again,” she added.
