George Michael, known in real life as Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou was born in East Finchley, London on 25th June, 1963. George’s mother, an English, Lesley Angold was a professional dancer while his father, Kyriacos Panayiotou, was a Greek Cypriot who was from England in the 1950s.

George Michael had two additional older sisters. Their names were Melanie and Yioda. George Michael most of his life in Kingsbury, London where his parents had already purchased a house for their family.

George Michael died on 25th December, 2016. The singer was found dead at his apartment in Goring-on-Thames. After his death, several tests were carried out. And according to the tests, George Michael died a natural death and part of it might result from heart and liver diseases at the age of 53.

George Michael grew to his prominence as a songwriter, record producer and gifted singer. He was undoubtedly one of the best and most sought out pop stars between the 1980s and 1990s. Michael won the Best Album of The Year in 1987. While in school, George Michael formed a music duo with his closest friend Andrew Ridgeley.

Their band collapsed after playing a few gigs. George Michael had his first breakthrough hit song in the year 1984. After his debut hut song, Michael’s music experienced a complete turn-up.

He released quite a several hit singles and albums. His album ‘Faith’ was one of the singer’s top-notch works. He sold over 80 million records worldwide even as a solo artiste. Life in music as a solo artiste won him a Grammy award for his duet track with Aretha Franklin.
