Hushpuppi Reportedly Tests Positive For Coronavirus In American Prison

Nigerian Instagram celebrity Hushpuppi who has been arrested by the Dubai police and handed over to FBI, has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus.

According to reports made by Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo on Twiter, a source at FBI informed her that Hushpuppi had tested positive for coronavirus since there has been a COVID-19 outbreak in the prison he is being kept in.

A further check into the issue also proved that particular prison has been suspended until further notice.

The Nigerian journalist also mentioned that this news can’t be announced on US soil due to the HIPAA Law. Our research into what the law states show that it was passed in 1996, which protects sensitive patient’s health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge.

Even though the prison Hushpuppi is being held in has been reported to record an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not sure if her information about Hushpuppi testing positive for the virus is true or not.

Meanwhile, the official statement which has been released after Hushpuppi had his first court appearance shows that if he is found guilty and is convicted, he can spend up to 20 years in prison.
