‘I Abandoned My National Service To Pursue Music’ – Quamina MP

Ghanaian artist, Quamina MP has revealed that he could not go ahead with his national service after his tertiary education because he was musically inclined at that time.

The former product of Ghana Telecom University was supposed to do his national service right after competition of his studies as mandated by the government but he dodged it only to become a music star the next minute.

The rapper revealed this during an interview with Homebase Television that whilst adding that another factor which made him shun the service was the fact that the distance between his workplace and his abode was too wide.

He said he was broke that and could not keep up with transportation fees and his welfare so he opted to pursue his dreams instead.
