‘I Am Not Copying Sarkodie, I Am Original’ – Samuel Owusu of TV3 Talented Kidz Fame

11-year-old Kumasi boy, Samuel Owusu who was crowned as the winner of TV3’s talented kids season 9 has refuted claims that he’s copying Sarkodie.

The young rapper in an interview with Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda posited that he won the competition not because he replicated the works of Sarkodie. To him, he’s different in so many ways when compared to Sarkodie.

“I am not a copy of Sarkodie. I am very original. My craft on stage, my confidence, my appearance, my looks is all different”, he stated.

Though Samuel has described Sarkodie in several previous interviews as his muse during the competition, he mentioned Sarkcess Music signee, Strongman as his mentor.

As a reminder, Samuel Owusu won the hearts of many during TV3’s Talented Kidz reality season 9. His amazing performances and his ability and of course the dexterity of his rap and how he was able to take on any challenge thrown at him.
