Shatta Wale has said in a new video that he’s the most gentle artists in Ghana but because his actions are often misconstrued, he’s always perceived in a different light.
The Dancehall act caused a stir a exactly a week ago at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards held at a makeshift Dome in Accra.
The ‘Chop Kiss’ hitmaker, who has been sanctioned together with Stonebwoy for the part they played to mar the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, suggested that it’s about time we understood him.
The board members and CEO of Charterhouse imposed hefty sanctions on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for their unruly behavior at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which took place last week- on May 18.
According to the VGMA board, the decision was taken after “careful deliberations” and “extensive consultation” with stakeholders in the music industry.
They were also asked to return all the awards they won on the night whilst the top most awards, Most Popular Song and Artiste of the Year which could probably go to either of them were also nullified.
But it seems Shatta Wale remains unfazed as he has said in a new video that he’s Ghana’s mots gentle artist, notwithstanding his history of controversies.
