The Hiplife music genre started with a lot of groups that were formed by friends who claim to have similar musical ideas, but as the years unfold most of these groups broke up for one reason or another.
One of the notable names that came up as a music group in the early 2000s as a result of the Nescafe talent hunt show was Wutah made up of Afriyie and Kobby.
The duo produced several hit songs such as “Big Dreams”, “Kotosa”, “Adonko”, etc. and inevitably made them a household name which got them several nominations and awards in the music industry.
They bounced back after years of going their separate ways kind courtesy the support of Guru and helped them produce an instant banger “Bronya”, however, they’ve gone their separate ways again.
Now, Wutah Afriyie in an interview with NBK Odompleh made it emphatic that although he has parted ways with Kobby as music duo, however, he won’t hesitate to collaborate with him on a song when the need arises.
